LESSONS, BIRTHDAY & SUMMER PROGRAMS

LEVEL RIDING LESSONS

Within our riding lesson programs and the Hang-Out Herd programs we use three progressive equine education curriculum sets used for learning about horses and riding. Along with progressive horse knowledge and skills, all the programs also teach problem-solving, hands-on skills, creates self confidence, a sense of responsibility and promotes emotional regulation.
These three curriculum sets each have multiple levels in which students will work through a checklist of short, achievable objectives. These objectives help a student learn important skills and concepts that they will continue to use throughout their riding endeavors. After the student has worked through the checklist of objectives and the level is achieved, students will receive a certificate of completion, an award, applauded within the barn and are then encouraged to move on to the next level.
Redemption Reins we offer a fun, relaxed environment to help students gain valuable confident, enjoyable riding experience.
We provide well-trained horses with all the necessary equipment, if needed. In addition, students are required to wear long pants and sturdy boots. Safety and control are essential aspects of the riding program.
If you’re unsure about your level or have any questions, simply reach out. I am more than willing to help!

Captain's Crew - Summer Peer Girls Group Program

OMG This program is one of my favorites! When I was a child spending time with my friends and my horses during the summer was absolutely best! It taught me so many things and created life-long friendships! I can't wait to share this opportunity with your kiddos too!
Why is it called Captain's Crew? Captain is our favorite horse here in this program! He's an old man who loves his kids and is incredibly intuitive and kind. He is an inspiration for our entire program. I promise you will love him as much as we do!
For girls ages 8 - 12 years old, Captian's Crew gives young equestrians an opportunity to spend three hours at the farm every week during the summer, riding, learning horsemanship, working on groundwork, building a bond with the horses, making new friends, feeding. cleaning up after the horses, learning new skills and responsibilities, enjoying nature, have fun and simply hangout!
This program gives your child more time with the horses, and is an opportunity to form lasting friendships. Sessions meet on most Thursday afternoons, June through August. Everyone starts off at different riding skill levels and continue their progression throughout our sessions at their own pace. We do prefer that each child has taken several individual riding lessons before joining this program, in order to ensure each child has a chance to learn some of the basics on a 1:1 basis. This program is offered as a monthly subscription, as we encourage continued participation in order to build on what they have learned and building bonds with peers and, of course, the horses. We supply all the horses, equipment, snacks and water. It is required to where wear long pants/jeans and boots or shoes with a heel for safety. Each child will receive a Redemption Reins t-shirt as well.
